Ashley Watermeier is a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville majoring in Public Affairs and Political Science. She has developed research skills across a range of subjects within the Department of Political Science and has cultivated a particular interest in Latin American politics. Her focus is primarily on Mexico, Central America, and northern South America.

A Knoxville native, Ashley enjoys baking for her friends and spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains.
