Hira Khan is a Biology major at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Sondheim Public Affairs Scholar committed to public service and policy-driven change.

Her academic and research work spans housing insecurity, economic justice, mental health, and maternal and child health. She has contributed to research on housing and economic justice as well as public health initiatives centered on youth advocacy and mental health equity.

Hira is passionate about integrating community perspectives with scientific evidence to inform policy solutions that advance equity and produce lasting impact.
