Samira is a senior at Université Internationale Claire Fontainein, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, majoring in business administration.
They are currently conducting a research project on the Efficient Market Hypothesis within the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières. The project examines how stock prices respond to dividend announcements by calculating expected returns, abnormal returns, and cumulative abnormal returns within a defined event window. Through this research, they are assessing how quickly publicly available information is reflected in stock prices and gaining a deeper understanding of market behavior in emerging economies.
In May 2024, they also led research for a group project analyzing Nike’s financial performance from 2019 to 2023. Their work included calculating profitability, liquidity, leverage, and investment ratios to evaluate the company’s financial health and performance trends.
Their professional interests include banking, investment and capital markets, asset management, and financial consulting.
