Yadira Gonzalez
Director of Latin America Studies
Yadira Gonzalez serves as Director of Latin America Studies at Babel Institute and leads the program’s research on governance, migration, public health, and regional development across Latin America.
She is the President of a non-profit chapter called Shaping Her Earth and a member of Mailman Health Ventures. She is a Marshall Wace Scholar and part of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
Her research experience includes psychological and public health work conducted in Sweden and Switzerland. She has also worked as a Summer Analyst at UBS, Brookfield, and Xponance across New York City, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
Yadira is currently a senior at Columbia University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health and has made the Dean’s List every semester since 2023.
